I believe that human being has conquered a lot of disease and developed many medicines because of animal experimentation. That is the truth that most of people know; however, there is another truth that medicine which is proved by animal experimentation has killed a lot of people. According to ‘Scared cows and golden geese’, a lot of medicines which is proved by animal experimentation killed a lot of people more than illegal medicine. This fact tells us that there is no why we should keep experiment on animal which has no same body organization. Furthermore, human being has no right to give a pain to animal for useless and dangerous result of animal experimentation. Therefore, animal experimentation should be illegal and we should protect animal’s right.
Some people and scientist who believe that human being needs animal experimentation think that animal experimentation is necessary for development of new medicine for new disease. However, according to ‘scared cow and golden geese’, there are a lot of medicine which killed human being. For example, Thalidomide which was wide used sleeping pill caused many deformed children, even though this medicine was proved that this medicine did not harm to human body by animal experimentation. Moreover, the reason why scientists prefer to experiment on animal is that it costs much cheaper. Even so animal has different body system from human being, scientist keep doing animal experimentation. The money is the answer. Not only less cost but also easier result about safety of new medicine makes them keep animal experimentation. Scientist who works for Medicine Company can get money easier and sooner if they get result from animal experimentation, because experiment on human costs more and takes longer time. That is why they experiment on animal instead of experiment on human which can bring safer and more accuracy result.
Opponents also claim that human being has always used animal for human being during centuries, so there is nothing wrong with animal experimentation. They said that animal experimentation is same as eating animal that people usually do. I think that it needs ethical contemplation. Stocks such as cow, pig, and chicken are animals which human being used to eat for living during centuries. That is why people blame on eating dogs, monkeys, and some animals which people usually eat. Furthermore, we do not need to give a pain to animal to get useless and dangerous results.
Another argument advanced by opponents is that human being has already gotten a lot of benefit from animal experimentation such as medicine for new disease. However, people should know that there are more medicines which cause a side effect than ‘good’ medicines which cure disease. According to ‘scared cow and golden geese’, there are many cases which shows medicine proving by animal experimentation have had side effects. Moreover, this means that it might bring other problems to human being such as mutant animal, new epidemic, and destroying of ecosystem. And it is obvious that animal experimentation can cause more serious bad effect on humans’ body, because it does not mean safe if new medicine is not harmful to animal which has different body and immune system.
I think that we can invent new medicine without animal expectation. Many researches show that many of medicine which human has invented by animal experimentation might be able to be invented without animal experimentation. Even though there are a lot of possibilities to invent new medicine without experiment on both animal and human such as using a human’s cell, the fact that scientist keep experiment on animal is very cruel and inhumane. That is not right keeping animal experimentation because of less cost.
Conclusion, I believe that animal experiment should be illegal and we should stop animal experimentation to protect animals’ right. Animal experimentation is nothing but giving a pain to animal and causing dangerous effects to human’s health. As some researches say, safe medicine proving by animal experimentation is not real safe to human’s body; it is safe to only certain animal which scientists experiment on. Animal experimentation that gives a pain to not only animal but also human is useless and cruel. And it also hampers our development of medical science which has possibilities about inventing new medicine without animal experimentation. Therefore, human being should stop cruel animal experimentation not only for animal but also human being.

Pollutions are the most serious problem all over the place because it fatally hurts not only our planet, but also humans. Currently the most pressing and complex environmental problem is the greenhouse effect by pollutions. Carbon emissions are widely suspected of contributing to greenhouse effect, a cause of global warming that threats human beings. If global warming is constantly progressed, we might sink under water. What can we do to prevent the horrible disaster by pollutions? The primary and easy step is recycling. It can be a good way of solution of the problems because it has three advantages that are decrease of trashes, save expensive costs, and save resources

Even though Korean education system is changing, there is still a major problem of education system. The problem is the students numbers per a classroom. There are usually around over fifty students in one classroom; sometimes more than one hundred. More number of students means less quality of education; because, teacher cannot take care of all of them in limited time. Therefore, reducing class size is necessity of high quality of education system. it helps teacher to teach more effectively and gives to students more opportunity to ask questions. Furthermore, it makes clean and silent atmosphere in the classroom.

               My name is Seung Yun, Lee. I am 26 years old, and I’m from
South Korea.  I was born in Seoul, which is the capital city of
Korea. I think I am a very lucky guy, because I have a very trustworthy family; they always support me and are there for me whenever I need them. My family members include: father, mother, older brother, and my cat. When I have free time, I usually enjoy watching movies or listening to music. My favorite types of music are hip-hop and old pop. I really enjoy traveling around the world because I like to meet different people and learn new things about different cultures. My favorite foods are meat and milk; I am not a picky person, so there are really no foods that I dislike. I came to CMU to study English two years ago as an exchange student. I made a lot of good memories and learned a lot about American culture. After I went back to Korea, I studied accounting in
Korean
University; however, the education system in
Korea didn’t fulfill my expectation. Therefore I came here again to enrich my skills both as an accountant and as a speaker of English. When I have something to do, I always try to do my best and finish as soon as possible; however, because of my personality I get pressure easily. Instead of talking to others about my stress, I like to reduce my pressure in a physical way, such as work out in the gym. I am responsible, positive and friendly. 

I have written about To kill a mocking bird last summer semester. Honestly, I didn’t feel any process about my writing skills because I was here to study English two years ago. From this reason, I must be good at writing skills include other English skills; however, I feel that I am getting worse, because I have not used any English skills during I was staying in Korea. Therefore, when I was writing about To kill a mocking bird, it was so hard for me writing an essay more than 3 pages. I am not good at writing now; however, I have a confident because of doing my writing homework and I get to know what skills I need; furthermore, I am ready to learn a lot of writing skills to improve my skill.

I always feel that I need to practice to write faster because I always spend too much time to write an essay.

Therefore, what I expect in this class is brainstorming my idea and writing an essay faster. Of course I do know that I need to practice all writing skills include writing faster; however, because I think that writing speed is my weakest point, I am going to focus on developing my writing speed in this class.

I have made a plan to keep my diary so many times since I was young; however, I have never kept a diary or journal.

Actually I have never written an essay even in my native language because I did not study when I was high school and I had no chance to write an essay. Therefore, it is obvious that I feel writing is so hard for me.
